Sementara itu, Yuiji Kira (Taishi Nakagawa) adalah teman sekelas Ninon Okamura. Dia menikmati hari-hari sekolahnya dengan melecehkan murid-murid lain dan berkencan dengan banyak gadis, tapi rahasianya adalah bahwa dia sakit parah dan hanya memiliki waktu satu tahun untuk hidup.
